Student Placements

WHIN has very limited student placement opportunities.  If you are interested in completing a placement at WHIN, please check with your university/college to find out if there are any available as we are unable to respond to queries directly.

WHIN believes student placements should be mutually beneficial: a rewarding learning experience for the student, and the benefit of the student’s skill-set for WHIN. As such, WHIN only offers placements when there is a specific project to complete, and when staff have capacity to offer high quality supervision and support to the student. 

 

WHIN is seeking to appoint a woman to a 1 EFT Women’s Health Promotion Worker with responsibility for the sexual and reproductive rights portfolio in the Health Promotion Team. This position is responsible for contributing to improved health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for women in the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne.
